If
you have a small channel then this is a must read article for you.
Having a smaller channel is a part of vetting process really? Here are
some of the most helpful tips that I have listed which will help you
grow on YouTube with a smaller channel.
Tips Number One
If
you start out on YouTube and you’re saying okay, you know what I’m
going to start uploading videos every single day as soon as I start my
YouTube channel and I’m just going to go for it. Well YouTube doesn’t
show love for you just because you’re uploading videos to their
platform, what they show you love for is keeping people watching and of
course going deeper into and further interacting into their platform.
So, before you start spending all your time recording, editing and
uploading your videos make sure that you keep people watching that way
your efforts don’t go waste and when you do, increase your upload
schedule. You have it dialed in a little bit way which is going to bring
you a much bigger return on all of the effort that you put into
creating your habit.
Tips Number Two
The
next tip in the list is sustainability. I cannot stress this one enough
it’s really important that you make sure that the content that you're
making is something that you are really into because if you're not
really into it if it's not something that you can see yourself doing a
year down the road, two years down the road, five years down the road,
if it's not something that you can see yourself being into, I'm talking
into like you consume podcasts about it, you watch videos about It, you
talk about it with your friends like that into it if you're not into it,
it's going to make sustainability a lot harder because there's a lot
that goes into a long term on YouTube channel. If you are not 100% into
the content that you're making you're going to put in a ton of work,
you're going to burn out and you're going to quit, so make sure that
whatever it is that you are making is something sustainable that you're
into and that you can actually work into your life so that you can keep
it all going.
Tips Number Three
The
next tip on this list is being you. I mean this was really simple but
here's the thing if you're a gamer and you're a huge fan of
Jacksepticeye and you watch his videos, you're like wow I want to be
just like Jacksepticeye and you watch his videos and you act like him,
you dye your hair like him, you edit like him and you do pretty much
everything that he's doing. Well you're just trying to be a clone of him
you're not being yourself but if you are you and you know of course
you're going to pull some inspiration from Jacksepticeye but if you
develop your own style your own way of communicating with your audience
your own way of communicating with the camera and your own style of
editing maybe it's you. Know the way that you style your videos or
whatever but if you create your own thing then people are going to
respond to you more because that is you and not you try to be someone
else.
Tips Number Four
Number
four on our list is money. Find a way to make money from your YouTube
channel outside of ads, and the reason for that is making videos cost
money. You know gear costs money, you have somebody to do your captions
it costs money, any type of video graphics that you do costs money. If
you want to use anything decent how you do attract, costs money. You
know all of this stuff costs money, so it's really important that you
learn how to make money. At the very least even if you're doing YouTube
as a hobby it's really important that at the very least you learn to
make your YouTube efforts pay for themselves.
